Ernest Hopkins is responsible for implementing the San Francisco AIDS Foundation's federal policy advocacy agenda. He is a well-known HIV/AIDS advocate and was instrumental in the passage of the current Ryan White CARE Act. Mr. Hopkins has led the advocacy efforts of the CAEAR Coalition and the National AIDS Housing Coalition and is a founder of the National Black Gay Men’s Advocacy Coalition.
